Spiritual Nakedness

Revelation 3:17-18

Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

It's very obvious that we are in the days of the Spirit, the things happening in the world is clearly beyond the physical. There is increase in witchcraft, paganism, atheism and all sort of metaphysical activities. People engage in these to gain power, protection, prosperity, to perpetrate their act of wickedness and other reasons.

So you can't afford to be naked, neutral and indifferent. Pastor Emmanuel Olumide says you are either in the secret cult of Satan or in the secret place of the Most high God. You being apathetic and spiritual naked will only leave you endangered, ashamed, frustrated and hopeless. Just like In the physical, when you are naked. You will be exposed to cold and other harsh weather conditions etc same thing applies in the Spirit. If your Spirit isn't covered it will exposed to the antics of Satan and his agents.That's why Being clothed with power and Fire isn't an option, but a necessity. 

There's a story of two colleagues, a Muslim and a Christian that works in a multi million naira company, they use to travel in and out of the country most times. So in one of their trips, something happened and the Christian guy was looking for a place to hide and his Muslim colleague asked him, why are you fidgeting did you come here naked? And he was perplexed what do you mean naked am I not wearing clothes? Then he asked him don't you have spiritual covering? You mean you don't have any form of  spiritual back up? 

Life is much more than 5-10 Minutes prayer. You must cook and cover your self in prayers or you will become a Pepper soup in the hands Satan. 

Let's see few dangers of Spiritual Nakedness... 

-You will Be ashamed. When you are spiritually naked. Just like our anchor scripture says, that the shame of your nakedness do not appear. Shame and reproach will not be far from your life.The aim of Satan is to make us ashamed, so that we won't lift up our head. (Zechariah 1:21 Then said I, What come these to do? And he spake, saying, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head: but these are come to fray them, to cast out the horns of the Gentiles, which lifted up their horn over the land of Judah to scatter it) .

Only the glory of the Lord can make us lift our head in dignity and Honour. Psalms 3:3 But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.

-Secondly, when you are physically naked, you will get cold and be susceptible to diseases. In the same vein, When you are spiritually naked, your life will be open and susceptible to every form of attack even the one not meant for you. You will always be a victim of circumstances. Many people have died from deaths not meant for them, because of lack of spiritual cover. 

-Thirdly you won't be allowed to enter certain places if you are naked or not properly covered. Same way you won't enter your destiny and certain things in the Spirit when you are spiritually naked.

-Fourthly, nobody will take you serious when you are physically naked, they will assume you are poor, insane, less privileged or you are promiscuous. Same thing applies in the Spirit, there will be a mistaken identity when you are spiritually naked. People will call you who you are not.

Genesis 3:10-11

And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.

And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? 

May we not assume who we are not in Jesus name. 

Your truest and surest cover is the glory of God. Psalms 84:11

For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk up rightly. Earnestly Contend for His Glory upon your life.

Let me also end with this story told by a man of God. According to him  someone gave his picture to a native doctor to be killed, but the native doctor told the person that brought the job for him that people like these cannot be killed because they are covered in a cloud. Wow, covered in the cloud of God's glory. 

My dear, OYO for you if you are spiritually naked. No matter how rich, intelligent, successful and powerful you are if you are naked spiritually. You are playing a risky game with your life. Your pastor's prayer can only  cover you to an extent. So don't depend on your pastor's prayer alone. Make a big covering for your self that's big enough to hide you and your loved ones.
