Amazon Awake

 Joel 3:9-10

Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:

Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.

An Amazon is a female Warrior. God is issuing a clarion call to all women to rise up and defend their territories. Your territory can be your home or family, office, community and the nation. We all have portions being alloted to us by God. (Matthew 25:15, And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey) 

Therefore, we must awake because the battle has reached the gates (Judges 5:8 They chose new gods; then was war in the gates: was there a shield or spear seen among forty thousand in Israel?) and if we don't do something fast, the enemy will break in.

God is counting on you and me to save the children from the evils in the world. To save the Nation through the economy, the education, the health , the agricultural and the entertainment sectors. To bring back the fear of God, morality and decency to these spheres. Children's innocence is being taken away, strange doctrines and practices are shoved to the throat of our children. We can't afford to keep silent. Or just sit idly and watch things continue to go more sour and bizarre. 

If we don't , God's purposes will still prevail but our own children and that which the lord has put in our charge and custody will be lost.

Can someone say God forbid.! 

Esther 4:14 For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father's house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?

God has given you that previlege for such a time like this, he has given you that resources, that wisdom, that knowledge, that beauty, he has brought you to the corridors of authority for such a time like this. Nothing in your life is without a purpose. As I said before God is a business man, anything he gives you in excess is because he desires a profit from you and he has empowered you to do so according to your ability. You must do everything in your power to make a positive influence  that will move the kingdom of God forward with what he has given you . Because none of us is empty. We have all received one talent or more from him. 

Like Deborah, we must arise and fight the battle of the Lord for our common betterment. 

Judges 5:7

The inhabitants of the villages ceased, they ceased in Israel, until that I Deborah arose, that I arose a mother in Israel. The things you see that gets you angry or perplexed are the things the Holy Spirit has engraced you to change.

How do I arise?

As an amazon, our fight must begin from the realm of the Spirit through intense, persistent and consistent warfare until God makes us strong. (Ephesians 6:10, Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.) An Amazon must be a woman of prayer and the word. Not just casual prayers but, James 5:16b, The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

 Spiritual, physical, mental and intellectual Strength must be part of the carryon luggage of a warrior. 

 We must also, endure his dealings and various trainings in order to be fully forged and sharpened. 

2 Timothy 2:3

Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

The endurance of staying at his feet until our hands are strong to Labour (fight) only then are we going to experience the change we desperately need in our lives, family and The Society. (Psalms 144:14, That our oxen may be strong to labour; that there be no breaking in, nor going out; that there be no complaining in our streets.) 

After being strengthened, we must then 

Ephesians 6:11-12

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

The forces we are up against are territorial powers that have been in existence for ages and are expert in war. You must be fully kitted so that the enemy will not be able to get you. (read Ephesians 6:10-18 for the various Armour an Amazon must put on) 

God is counting on you and me, may we not fail him, may the enemies not prevail over us and may we not be  displaced or replaced in  our territories.
