The Solution

And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; (Luke 18:1) KJV

Happy New Month, Welcome to July.

In our Text yesterday we mentioned prayer as one of the basic tools in the Journey to Destiny. Jesus himself gave the parable in Luke 18, that men ought to always pray and not to faint. Ought means a duty or obligation, it's what we are supposed to do naturally. But because the devil knows the importance of prayer in our lives, he will make you too comfortable not to pray at all (I have heard people say severally who did I offend that I will be praying for so long or why would I disturb God when I have everything I need? I will just pray in my heart for them, Lord give them understanding )

Another strategy of the devil is to make us too busy to pray. The world we live in is spiritual nothing is ordinary and you can't be in between. You may be very innocent, hardworking, intelligent and gentle but if you don't have any spirit backing you(God or the devil) you are at the mercy of life and can be cut short any time. That's why you can't afford to be casual or negligent.

You either pray or you become a prey in the hands of the devil and his cohorts. The evil we are seeing in our society today is because men and women of prayer refuse to arise, And when evil comes looming if there is no light and power to counter it, then evil prevails. The kidnappings, terrorism, inflation, poverty, sicknesses etc we are seeing today will only get worse, saying God forbid won't stop it, until men of prayer arise and say enough is enough.

When we don't pray, things remain the same, our destinies will never be discovered, territories will be conquered by the devil as we are seeing in our society. The devil is not powerful is because sons of the kingdom have refused to take their place in various sectors of the world. We are all called to different spheres of life and if you will make up your mind to stand and defend your own sphere,you will send the devil back to hell.

If you are yet to know your own sphere, You can begin from your family, make up your mind that your family will not be a prey to the devil because you are here, be the gate keeper of your family, the one to change the narrative of any negative trend in your family line.

When you begin to take that kind of responsibility and God sees your Faithfulness in keeping your family, he will then entrust you with greater responsibility.

Friend are you not angry with the way things are going on in your life, family and society? You are the one to put a stop to it. Time will not change it, hustling alone won't change it, but prayer will change it.

Prayer

Father in the Name of Jesus, I am tired of complaining or even getting angry with you over the circumstances of my life and family. Empower me stand in the place of prayer until I see changes. Amen.
