The ENEMY CALLED FEAR

 Bible Verse

2 Timothy  1:7

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Someone opined an acronym for FEAR: AS FALSE EVIDENCE APPEARING REAL. we all battle fear in our hearts in one way or the other. But a distinct fear that has kept many captive is fear of Venturing out and pursuing our goals. We hold on to the WHAT IF'S. What if I fail, what will people say, or we often say someone else is already doing what I want to do, won't it bring strife? I have met alot of people that refused to pursue purpose because someone close to them is doing similar thing that God has put in their heart and mind to do. But you must know that your destiny is greater than what anyone says or think. You will be accountable to God for your life and no one will be there with you. 

Another Fear that keeps people in one spot is fear of Failure, we fear to fail or make mistakes, but if we don't make mistakes how can we grow? Nobody became perfect in what they are doing on the go, they were just consistent and refused to give up, even when they failed. ( Proverbs  24:16 For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.) 

We don't have to fear failure because people will laugh at us. Martin Luther King Said, "it's better to fail at something than to succeed in nothing" . The world is full of critics no doubt, they will talk down on you, but the same people will celebrate you when you begin to succeed. Fear of Failure shouldn't deter us from pursuing our God given Purpose. Fear is not from God but the Devil, he is afraid of the havoc you will cause to his kingdom', so he brings all forms of discouragement. but we should remain focused on God and our goal, (Psalms  16:8, I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.) God is with you don't get moved by naysayers, he will keep leading you to the perfection. Shake off the fear of failure and Pursue your purpose, the world is full of darkness, we need your Light. So Get Up, and get going.

PRAYER

Father in the Name of Jesus, thank you for the confidence I have in you that you will be with me every step of the way therefore I come against every spirit of fear stopping me from pursuing your purpose for my life.
