PREPARE TO MEET THE LORD PART3

 

Bible verse

Amos  4:12 (KJV) 

Therefore thus will I do unto thee, O Israel: and because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God, O Israel.

God has so many plans for us, more than we have for Ourselves. We are created  for a noble task, there was a need in the world that only you can meet that's you are here in this cosmos. So you don't have to envy someone or try to be like someone, but rather go to God our  creator and he will show and reveal to you things concerning your life. The Bible says in Jeremiah 33:3

(Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not).

God is saying because of these great plans I have for you my son /daughter you need to PREPARE. The place am taking you to is a high and lofty place, the road may be rough and rugged and you will meet many giants that you need to slay. So adequate preparation isn't an option but a necessity. Preparation in prayer, studying the word, meditation.

I know you will be thinking is this the only preparation I need? 

Studying and praying? 

Yes, we are still laying the foundation for our journey to destiny, and these are the basic things that must be in place. God speaks to us through his word, we know his will for our lives through the word. Through prayer God empowers us to execute his will. So the WORD and PRAYER are basic tools of preparation if we must win and go far in the Journey of Destiny. 

We should be able to to read at least five chapters of the Bible every day and pray for at least one Hour in a day which is the least standard time expected of every believer to pray, no matter how busy you are.

(And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one Hour? Matthew 26:40 KJV). 

NOTE

Tomorrow Being 1st of July, we will begin the study of the entire Bible for the remaining months of this year.

Father in the Name of Jesus, thank you for the great and beautiful plans you have for me, as I give myself to studying and praying, help me discover your will for my life and give me the grace to fulfill it. Amen
