Prepare To Meet The Lord Part2

Bible verse 

Amos  4:12 (KJV) 

Therefore thus will I do unto thee, O Israel: and because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God, O Israel.

He said, Thus I will do unto you, and because I will do this unto you, this is my instruction and criteria, PREPARE ! 

In our Walk with God, he expects us to trust his leading and judgements, He lays the conditions for our walk with him, wether it's convenient to us or Not, because he is sovereign and knows what's good for us.

To enjoy him, we have have to empty ourselves of our own wisdom, and the philosophies of the world. You don't come to him and say Lord if you do this unto me I will do this unto you. He is your creator, he fashioned you and made you, and he knows what to do with you. He determines what Becomes of you. 

"What sorrow awaits those who argue with their Creator. Does a clay pot argue with its maker? Does the clay dispute with the one who shapes it, saying, ‘Stop, you’re doing it wrong!’ Does the pot exclaim, ‘How clumsy can you be" . (Isaiah 45:9)NLT

Acknowledge him as the all knowing and wise God, humble yourself before him, and he will begin to guide & direct you by his spirit. And the good news is That Jesus is a good Shepherd, he will lead you beside the still waters (divine guidance, protection, provision etc) and won't let wild animals (devil and demons Torment you).

So, make up your mind to do as he bids you no matter the cost. 

Accepting to follow his leading is one of the foundations for your journey to Purpose.

Prayer

Father, I acknowledge you as the Lord of my Life, the Author and the finisher of my life. I put all my trust in you, therefore help look up to you alone and give me the grace to be sensitive to your leading at all times in Jesus Name. Amen
