The strength of Compassion

💪Jude 1:22

And of some have compassion, making a difference:

💖Quote

Resolve to be tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving, and tolerant of the weak and the wrong. Sometime in life you will have been all of these.

HELO THERE!

it's been a while..... 😊💕

Greetings in Jesus Name....🙏

Compassion according to my phone dictionary, Is a deep awareness for the pain of others and the wish to relieve it. I love the second part of it that says THE  WISH to RELIEVE it.

James 2:14-16

What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?

If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,

And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?

It's not just enough to have compassion there must be an innate desire to relieve it. I realize that God will not move you to compassion if he has not endued you with the Requisite grace to relieve the situation. Relieving a situation isn't just monetary, sometimes it can be prayer, talking to someone on behalf of others. Anytime we are moved with compassion towards a situation or someone it's expedient we pray first and ask God for his direction. I know we are living in complex times now which is making most people's love to wax cold, but we should never loose our compassion.

I read a story of a poor preacher in Rick Joyner's Book the Final Quest, who was enthroned above many Generals of God in heaven because of his compassionate heart. He was labeled a matyr in heaven because he froze to death trying to save a drunkard. Ohh that shifted something in me.

I reiterate,

the fact that  we live in perilous times shouldn't make us loose our compassion, I think one of the reasons the devil make things difficult for believers is to make us focus on ourselves only, but in our opening verse we can only make a difference in the world through compassion. We can only win souls through compassion. In fact you can only fulfill purpose through the spirit of compassion. Because purpose is about others not yourself. It's compassion that will stir something in your heart to make a difference.

Jesus saved the world through compassion and he did mighty miracles through compassion. The Bible always put it this way

" AND Jesus MOVED WITH COMPASSION" did so and SO.  Whenever a spirit of compassion flows anything is possible and attainable.

I have witnessed what compassion did in the life of my baby's classmate. On children's day 2025 which was 27th May, We visited one of my  baby's class mate called Sani who always protects her in the class against bullies because she was the youngest in the class. The boy is the son of the school's security. We visited him because his mom left him with his sister and their dad. He was basically the less previleged in the class. But I was beyond shocked when we visited him and found out that they were living on a farm with a small cubicle called a room with no window and doors, only a sack cotton that was tattered by the sun partially covering their door. The farm was all covered with grass and this little boy of 5years old was alone with his 10 year old sister and dog at the time we visited around 6:00PM . I honestly couldn't sleep that day, I wept and prayed passionately for that boy even though they were Muslims. Because I can't imagine another human, talk more of a child living in that condition.

And amazingly, God answered our prayers two days after our visit, they were given a better place to live and their mom came back to them two weeks after. That made me realize the strength of Compassion and I learnt a valuable lesson to never take it lightly whenever a surge of compassion rises in our hearts.

Don't be discouraged by the worlds definition of being called a fool, there is great reward in being compassionate. You are not being foolish by being compassionate. But rather God working in you. Philippians 2:13, For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. He wants to move through you, and he moves through compassion. Whenever you shut or harden your heart towards a situation, you are resisting God and his move.

May we not loose our compassion in the world that's designed to make us self centered.

May we not loose our compassion because of the increase in evil and wickedness.

May we not normalize and trivialize the pain and struggle of others. I realize that No matter what we are going through, we can help others with their own cross. Easing the burden of others makes our own lighter.

May Divinity prevail in our Humanity....

I live you with the words of Benjamin Franklin, A man wrapped in himself makes a small Bundle...

Don't think about yourself only, think about how you can make a change in your family, community and Nation.

Until Next Time..

Remain Ever Blazing & Shinning ..
